Project outline details:
devoirs: Continue to work on your project; write out the French vocabulary 3 times each, and the English vocabulary 1 time each (this is due Monday). See yesterday for the answer key to vocabulaire.

Mass took a little longer today, so we changed the test to Friday.
devoirs: study for your test Thursday --> we went over the important topics in class today (le vocabulaire, les verbes, les questions personnelles,le partitif, le comparatif, le pronom en, le superlatif, les recettes (les adverbes, les infinitifs vs les conjugaisons), avoir besoin de).
note: Dans la cuisine - looking at how to write instructions on recipe cards VS how to say you're doing it right now; adverbes to put recipes/actions in the correct order
- read the story, write the French words that look like English words in the list, and then create a small advertisement in the box on the sheet (with colour!) for the new dish. Make sure to include the name of the new dish and of the restaurant, the price, the slogan, and the ingredients (don't forget to use du/de la/des/de l'!). Get ahead and complete p79-81
Complete those two pages on the pronom en -- study for your quiz on Monday; get your midterms signed! We went over unit 1's project and reviewed the midterm exam.
We talked about an assignment. Students will be creating their own themed vending machine! It must include at least 12 items and can be snacks, drinks, or dishes. Here's the outline:
You'll be working on this all period tomorrow, so make sure you bring your ideas! I will be providing a sheet to outline the design for your vending machine. You will also be filling out your outline tomorrow, as well as drafting your paragraph description of your vending machine using the model on the back side of the page. All rough drafts will be handed in to me tomorrow! The good copy of the project is DUE TUESDAY, APRIL 21ST!!!

and study for your partitif quiz tomorrow! Don't forget, you'll need to know the GENDER and NUMBER (m/f/s/p) of ALL the vocabulary words in order to be able to know which partitif to use (du/de la/des/de l')!!!!
devoirs: study for your vocabulary quiz - make sure you understand the meanings of the vocabulaire and know how to spell the vocabulaire (don't forget accents!); be sure you know the added vocabulaire from today; make sure you have completed and understand all of the vocabulary activities up to today - any of them may appear in some form on the vocabulary quiz tomorrow.

vocabulaire: complete the translation into English; write out the French vocabulary words 2X each, and the English meaning 1x on a separate piece of paper. This is to be done for Friday!

We worked on our unit projects. THIS IS DUE THURSDAY!!!!!! Complete this checklist to be handed in Thursday with your project so that you can make sure you have everything necessary to be successful! :)
devoirs: complete the Venn diagram by writing the things that both Victor and Rose like TO DO in the separate area; where the circles cross, write what BOTH like to do.
finish the package and FRIDAY we'll have a quiz! Make sure you know how to conjugate the regular verbs, the irregular verb préférer, how to use the negative ne/n' … pas with ONE verb and TWO verbs, how to use les verbes suivis d'un infinitif to describe your preferences, and your vocabulary.
devoirs: complete the front verb chart, NOT exercises A or B (they are listening exercises), as well as the back side of the sheet given; get signatures on your Progress Reports; BRING MONEY FOR COURSE SELECTION and their FORMS.
